The Fire Department ensures the prevention and protection of civilian lives and assets by putting together protection and prevention measures which are directly linked to the schematic objectives of risk coverage of the MRC des Laurentides.

As well as firefighting and interventions with the Jaws of Life, the department is responsible for the protection of civilians and it oversees the unfolding of any emergency response plan in case of a disaster on the town's territory.
