Prizes and honors
Over the years, the town of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts has received many honours :
2009- Obtaining four Fleurons du Quebec, attesting to the level of horticulture and landscape beautification of the city and its continuous commitment in this area.
2008 and 2007 – The town as received the Fleurons du Québec, , horticultural prizes given for embellishing the landscape and for a continued commitment in this field.
2006 – Mention of recognisance from Hydro Québec for the exceptional work accomplished in the revitalization of the downtown area, when cables were placed underground.
2005 – Physical improvement prize awarded by la Fondation Rues Principales in recognition of efforts put forth to put into value the physical and human aspects of the downtown area.
2005 - The AQTR 2005 prize for road safety awarded by l’Association Québecoise du Transport, for the reorganization concept of the downtown area.
2005 – The Coq D’Argent prize in the category of town of the year awarded by the Québec Chamber of Commerce Federation.
