As a result of a 20 month effort, the family policy project has mobilised many local and regional actors who discussed and pondered what was at stake, the orientation, the objectives and ultimately the necessary actions to put into motion for Sainte-Agathe families.
Like the majority of large municipal projects this first policy stems from a strategic plan put into motion by the municipal council in 2005. It confirms the town’s willingness to put into value the role of family, to contribute to its well being and to offer a quality environment to live in.
The family policy paves the way to the accomplishment of a plan of action which the municipal council thought ambitious but realistic at the same time. Spread over a 3½ year horizon, which means 2009-2012, this plan of action covers four fields of intervention which include development, housing, security and a dynamic living environment.
Born of work by the Comité de la politique culturelle de Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and of consultation with the residents of the town, you will find included here the family policy implemented by Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts’ municipal council on February 20th, 2008.
This policy will guide development and cultural choices and decisions over the course of the next years. Its aim is to mobilise and guarantee efficient coordination of the town’s actions with actors coming from different areas and all of the population, including all cultural communities. Finally, it will allow pursuing harmonious development while integrating the treasures of the cultural, artistic and patrimonial milieus.
In an attempt to improve its Customer Service, the town of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts' municipal council has approved a new policy regarding the complaints it receives.
The object of this policy is to ensure the best follow-up, in the best possible delay, of the complaints regarding the different services the town offers. This is an important aspect in the relationship with residents and correspondence must be treated in a timely manner to guarantee a solution is found, with the help of the policies and existing regulations, to best answer each and everyone's needs.
For this task, Mr. Benoit Fugère, g.d.d. and clerk, was named as the responsible party to manage all complaints, in order to ensure the proper procedure according to this policy. Therefore, he will be transferred all written complaints and he will make certain communication between all services involved and the plaintiff is made possible to analyse whether or not municipal procedures have been respected and if they have not, to take necessary measures to rectify the situation.
* Please note that in order for a complaint to be treated seriously, it must be written by and signed by the complainant.
Of course, all currant information or requests will be handled by the appropriate services.
In short, citizens wishing to make a complaint to the Town of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts must do so in writing, either in a letter, or by filling out the appropriate form, indentify him or herself and duly sign the document.
