The management of household garbage pick-up and residual matters is the responsibility of the MRC des Laurentides.

One bin for all
New homes in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, all sectors!
All new home owners need to acquire a green bin and a black bin which must be obtained from the public works department. These garbage containers are associated to the civic address (they must be left behind if you move) and remain a property of the municipality.
To get one or more bins or to report a damaged bin :

Please note that only the bins provided by the town can be used. Garbage which is not in a bin will not be picked-up. The maximum capacity of a black bin is 100 kg or 220 pounds. You are responsible for their maintenance and must possess them.
Place to waste and recycling bins next to the other, with a space of at least 30 cm all around. The handles and wheels should point to the House so that nothing blocks the access to the electronic arm of the new robotic truck. Waste and recyclables are collected at the same time.
